When Love is Not Enough

When a seedling is transplanted great care is taken to retain the soil around the roots to lessen the shock to the plant. The original nutrients it thrived on may be different than the new soil and the shock would be fatal.

Just as the two soils intermingle to buffer the shock for the seedling, so must the two families love intermingle inside the childs heart to aid in the difficult transition necessary as the bonding to the new family begins.
