"I Improved"

I improved
As I moved
From place to place
I looked in the mirror at my
face
And I noticed I needed to change
And I rearranged
The truth was coming out
And I started learning what I was about
I was smart and that was just
the start
I had to tear apart and go
inside
And find the things I used to hide
And do away with my pride
As I cried
And told my life bit by bit
And here I sit
In the seat of my life
Going down the highway avoiding
Roadblocks and straying debris
