Why
Am I Here?
by Aaron, age 16
Why am I here?
Is there anything I should fear?
I feel like everyone is watching me.
But why?
Do they really see what I see? Sometimes I want to leave
Just break loose
So I can be free
But that to me wouldnt be right
Not after as far as Ive gotten
So Im gonna put up a fight
And nobodys taking me out
Until Ive got my point across that
I can hold my own
Without a shadow of a doubt
Im still doing this for me
I just want everyone that
doubted me to see
Ive got a new family now
Ever since Ive lived here
I feel like I cant be beat Like
Im on top of the world
But not in the streets
Now Ive found out why I am here
Im here to be successful,
without any fear.
P.S. Ive been through a lot, and I share how I feel about my
life through my writing.
