Turn
Around
Ashley, age 15
I was brought into the
world
with hatred and grief and
grew up thinking Im a lying thief
I didnt care what I done or said because my thought was soon,
Ill be dead I started believing no one was there I believed
no one cared
But when I turned around, I was wrong
There were people that showed me where I belonged
They gave me happiness
Ive never seen I changed to someone you couldnt imagine me being
Thank you to the ones I know for making me remember, Im not alone.

Im Thankful
by Demico, age 18
Im thankful for all the times I was
angry and You made me laugh.
Im thankful for the times when I was too outspoken but You have
saved my back from wrath.
I am thankful for lifes burdens and
pains, that are placed there by You, only to help us gain.
I am thankful for this present day
in which You have opened my eyes. Im thankful for the loved ones
Youve given so were never alone when we cry.
Im thankful for the tears Youve
dried, and the wounds youve healed by touch. I guess the real
reason Im so thankful is that You love sinful me so much.

Kids
R Us and Foster Care
by Malik, age 10
I like this foster home because they
take care of me and they dont tell you any thing wrong to do.
I like Kids R Us because it is a nice name for the daycare.
Kids R Us is the best name I ever heard in my whole entire life.
They give us some of what they get and they share their candy
and paper and pencils. I like this daycare because it is nice
and clean. I like my foster parents because they will give you
what you ask for in the store. We always go on trips and shop
and see Christmas lights. I love Mrs. Gay.
***************
I like this truck.
It is a 4 x 4. This truck was made in 1965. It was made in the
USA.

Foster
Child
by Dametrice, age 12
I am a foster child
and my name is Dametrice. I have been to five foster homes, and
I want to talk about the fifth foster home. I love my foster parents
because they take me to church and they have cared so much about
me. And another thing I want to talk about is my foster home.
We travel a lot! Love, Dametrice.
